How we make money
N01 is a store. Here is everything we earn on.
Service fee. Our service fee is 10% of every pack price plus VAT, so 12.5% with 25% VAT. The other 87.5% pays for cards. A €25 pack has a €3.13 fee (€2.50 plus €0.63 VAT), an average card value of €21.87, and no card worth less than €12.50.
Trade-in fee. If you trade a card in instead of keeping it, you get its value minus a 10% trade-in fee plus VAT (12.5% in all) as store credit. A card worth €100 gives €87.50.
VAT. Every price includes VAT, and it is the same in every country. Nothing is added at checkout; your receipt shows the card part, our fee and the VAT on it.
Shop margin. We sell single cards, sealed products and accessories at a markup, like any card shop. When we buy a card for less than its market value, we keep the difference. The value shown on your card is always its full market value, whatever we paid for it.
Shipping. You pay a shipping and handling charge when you have cards sent home. €8 a parcel in Sweden and €12.50 in the rest of the EU, including the first card, and €3.90 for each extra card. A parcel worth more than €50 adds cover.
We earn the same service fee whichever card you pull. The card part of every pack goes into that pack's pool and is only used to pay for cards. If a pool is closed, what is left moves to the next one.
